| 12 miles with Chuck and Mike this morning. I took a good dose of iron last night and I guess I really needed it because I felt better than I have in such a VERY long time. Averaged 6:39 with a 6:07 last mile. I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER. Also, this was my first ever 50 mile week and I'm feeling good! |

| Freedom 10k today! Warmed up from the car to the start line and talked with Ryan and a couple other guys who were doing it. Going into it I just wanted to give a good effort, I didn't have any expectations because I'm pretty tired. Splits were 5:52,5:50,6:04, 6:20,6:30,6:45, and 6:29 pace for the last .2. Haha the last 3 miles were rough... my legs are just dead. Working on recovering better, it also doesn't help that the trail run last night was brutal

| 7 miles after work with Joe so it was cooler. We started at about 9:30. Got going, and after a couple miles we fell into a groove and just cruised and had a really deep discussion about religion. It was nice and refreshing because we both respected each other's beliefs, it was just good to discuss things. 6:33 ap |

| 7 with Chuck, we met at around noon and it was blazing hot, around 96 degrees. We ran on the Jordan River Trail and saw Dallin and Brynlee biking so shoutout to them! Also I definitely hopped in the river to help cool myself off... It was still pretty bad. |

| I went to practice today, and everything took a pretty long time because the team had a workout. I did 2 by myself, 3.5 with the team, 1.75 with Gill, and 1.75 by myself at the end. AP was 7:13 but it was all over the place. Faster on my own and slower with the team because they were hurting from the workout, haha completely understandable. Ice bath in the creek when I got back Also it's time for me to get back to doing abs, so 10 min core when I got home |

| Workout was 8x(2min on (@lactate threshold)/2min off). When I plugged in my 5k time it said my pace should be like 5:45 and that seemed slow so I put in my mile time at it said like 5:10 so I split it down the middle and went around 5:20-5:30. I think that was a good idea because it got pretty tough but I finished strong and felt good about it. Definitely a positive day. Haha I'm pretty tired from it but honestly I don't feel anything as far as injuries go, and I'm doing more miles at a higher intensity than I ever have. So these are very good things.

| Met with Ryan for this one, we were going to do 12 but did 13 because there were some hot pots another .55 out that I wanted to show Ryan so that was fun. My legs definitely didn't feel very good today, probably because this is the most mileage I've done in a week, ever. It was still a great run and we had some quality conversations so that was a win. And big shoutout to Ryan because he's a stud and it was definitely nice to have someone with me for all the miles.

| WO was 2x10min @LT with 2min standing rest. First mile of the first one was 5:26, felt pretty good. Got another .82 in the 10min @5:35 pace. Second set. 5:39 for the first mile, I was getting tired... Then 5:54 pace for .74 to finish the 10min. The last .74 was rough... Breathing got pretty tight but I fought and pushed to the end. I feel good about my effort, but the pace wasn't quite there..... So yeah. Big thanks to Gill, Parker, and the Hinckleys for doing this with me so I wasn't alone

| Warmed up 2 miles around the track while watching the 6min test and about 1.25 to the bottom of the hill for my WO. I did 4x300m hills @mile effort. Splits were 57,56,59,57. Rest was just jogging down and the hill was pretty steep. Definitely pushed it so that was good. Shoutout to everyone who did the 6min test because that's a really fun workout!

| Speed today... 8x(3min on, 1min off). I wanted to do a workout on the track so that's where I did this one. For the most part I hung around 5:35-5:40 pace. I started feeling pretty crappy and threw up after the 5th one but felt a little better after that.

| The team had easy pace today so I went with them. I felt decent, my legs were a little heavy but that's alright. Afterwards I did 8x60m hills @100% effort. That was interesting... It's not really like anything I've done before so that was kinda cool |

| I took a cross-train day to give my soleus another day to recover. I should be good to go tomorrow. I did some solid aquajogging, 10min warmup, 2x15min hard with 2min rest, and 10min cooldown. I definitely worked hard, my legs are toast. The workout today was supposed to be 2x15min tempo so I pretty much just did that in the pool. Good times. |
