All aqua jogging. 10 minute warmup, then 20 sets of 90 sec easy, 2 min hard, 90 sec rest. Then 5 min cooldown. Total time was 1 hr and 55 minutes. Lol would've done a 10 minute cooldown to get 2 hours but I was wrecked from straight aqua jogging for that long. Afterwards I went to Rodizio's with Kobe and Parker so that was quality. Shoutout to them for having stellar food and strawberry coconut limeades.

Another solitary morning in the pool. I warmed up 500, did 10 minutes of aqua jogging, then did 10 25yd lung busters (1 lap with no breathing) with 30 sec of rest for the first 5 and 1 minute rest for the second 5. Then 10 more minutes of aqua jogging and a 500 cooldown. I'll do better about blogging every day, I just got out of the habit because I didn't have to track mileage on shoes lol.

Bike workout today. 10 min warm-up, then 6 sets of 4 min at 5k effort, 1 min easy, 1 min sprint, 3 min rest (keep biking). 10 min cooldown. I was pretty dehydrated for this workout so that was a no go, but I was able to push it pretty hard. Shoutout to everyone for putting in a great track workout today.

I took it easy today because my legs have been trashed this whole week and I don't think I'm recovering very well on the bike. 5 min warm-up, then 4 sets of 5 min medium, 1 min hard. 5 min cooldown. Nice recovery. Shoutout to everyone racing at the Murray invite today, I'll be there to cheer!

Swim workout! 500 warm-up breaststroke, then 5 sets of 25 lungbuster going straight into 75 freestyle, 30 sec rest, 100 kick. Then 500 cooldown. So total distance was 2000m. Good times. Just an update, the problem isn't actually my achilles, it's my posterior tibialis tendon (medial to the achilles) and I have micro tears there that aren't exactly healing like we hope they would. So yeah, it still hurts to walk. 3 cheers for a sucky senior season.

The workout was 10 min warm-up, then 6 sets of 5 min at 5k effort, 4 min off. 10 min cooldown. 70 min total. Shoutout to the team for doing mile repeats today and to Guppy for breaking the flower to plank with me. She's the best. Also unshoutout to you know who you are... Just cuz

Swimming today. 300 WU, then 4 sets of 200 breaststroke, 100 freestyle. no rest. 300 CD. Thrilling. Also I had a dream that I could run last night and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced so shoutout to the dream I had and unshoutout to the fact that I had to wake up.

Swim workout. 350 warm up, 10 50's swimming the shallow and jogging the deep. Then 4 100's, 2 swim, 2 kick. Then 10 min aqua jog, 15 sec sprint every minute. 10 min cooldown. Also Dax (head guard) said I could dive off the blocks if I did 100 in less than a minute, haha I got 1:07. But I don't know how to do flipturns and I started in the water and it was after the workout so I think I could go under a minute given the chance... Lol next time Dax.

Bikes today! 10 min warmup, then 6 sets of 2 min easy, 2 min medium, 1 min hard. 10 min cooldown. It was still supposed to be a little more recovery from last week but I was able to put some good effort into it. I could definitely still feel the fatigue in my quads though...

Elliptical, 10 min warm-up, 6 sets of 5 min medium, 1 min hard. 10 min cooldown. I went to an orthopedic specialist today and looking at my ankle with ultrasound, nothing was injured anymore. It's all healed. I'm going to start running tomorrow, the only reason it still hurts is because the joints in my foot and hip were locking up to try and protect the area so now I have to do exercises to loosen those up and I'm all set!

2 miles, I'm so glad to be back running again... my next race will be region on Oct. 7th. Just trying to keep my head level for that. After the run I did a workout on the elliptical, hill climbs. Up for 10 minutes and back down for 10 minutes x2. 10 min cooldown.

First day at SUU! Michael, Chris, and I got to the school at around 11:00, took a tour of the campus, had lunch at a delicious pizza place, drove up to a lookout with coach Limf to see all of Cedar City. It's so beautiful here... And the opportunities for trail runs are awesome. Dinner was at an amazing barbecue place which had free ice cream cones so that was a plus. However, after I went back for 3 cones and was heading for my 4th, the cashier got all mad at me and said it's only one per person... Lol idk how he didn't see me get 3 others... So unshoutout to him I guess. Shoutout to Sage for hosting Michael and I and being a stud.

1.5 mile tempo today to test out my legs, and it went well! I warmed up a mile, and then got started. Jamie told me to go between 5:20 and 5:30 for the first mile and drop it from there. I started on a street that went slightly downhill, and turned around at .75. First mile was 5:20, and the last half was at 5:12 pace. I was happy that I was able to drop the pace a little because it was slightly uphill, but I do wish I could've dropped it more, like sub-5 would've been nice. But I'm not complaining because I did it alone, it was my first real fast thing back, and I didn't feel too bad at all afterwards. Good times. Shoutout to everyone who raced at the Springville invite today, I was there to watch and cheer on my beast of a team for making through a hard week of training.
