The workout today was 10,8,6,4,2 (minutes) with half rest, so 5,4,3,2. I decided to do this one on grass, in spikes. My paces were 5:41 for the 10min, 5:48 for the 8min, 5:46 for the 6min, 5:38 for the 4min, and 5:25 for the 2min. This was a tough one, especially alone. During the 6min one I realized that I was just trying to hang on to the pace, rather than consciously pushing the pace. I made that switch and although it hurt pretty bad, I was able to do the 4min and the 2min faster. I'm happy with the effort. Weights and core after, aka death to my legs. Also, I leave for ISU in a week so that's kinda scary |
