| 7 miles, and we all brought snow shovels so we could clear the track. We got lanes 1 and 2 completely cleared so that was fantastic, we can now use the track for speed workouts!

| Speed/hills today, and wow it was a good one. Workout was 3x(200m,400m,200m) @mile pace for indoor. All of this on the hill up the murdock canal trail behind smiths. Splits were 30,77,33,32,69,33,33,70,29. The first 200m is a slight uphill but the second 200m gets pretty steep so it was pretty much a sprint up the last 200m every 400. Also, I got the marking at .26 instead of .25 every time for the 400's... so for what it's worth the paces on the 3 400's were 4:58 (this was me realizing how much more I needed to push to hit mile pace uphill), 4:27, and 4:32. Good workout, and an effort I can actually be proud of for once. Good things to come.

| 8 lonely miles, I ran during lunch and 4th period because I had senior pictures after school. 6 of those miles were supposed to be at "easy" pace (5:50-6:50) and I averaged about 6:25ish on those. It actually required some mental focus so that's was definitely beneficial, and today's run was completely continuous, no stops at all. We've got speed tomorrow, I'm excited to see how that goes |

| Speed today! Workout was 2x1000m, 3x800m, 4x400m all at 2 mile pace. Everything had 90 sec of rest. Splits were 3:03, 3:08, 2:30, 2:31, 2:32, 72, 72, 67, 68. I'm making some headway on the mental side of things, and the 800's were definitely tough. Fell off pace a little bit on those. But other than that, everything went really well, and I'm super glad I was able to pick things up a little on those last two 400's, that was definitely a confidence builder. Chipping away at that mental block. Shoutout to the team for being super awesome |

| 10 miles this morning, and I felt much better than expected. Dylan came with me but turned around at 3.5 miles because he only had 7 today. So I was mostly alone, but it was nice because I was able to run whatever pace I was feelin. 7:13 ap |
