7 miles on a sick trail in Draper that Ryan knew about. It was Ryan, Dallin, Guppy and I. It was a way good time, and shoutout to Guppy because she's going to start running with us more, running with the gf is always appreciated. Also, we checked the SOLW, and it's not on yet... I need it to turn on so I can actually look forward to ice baths again. Oh and shoutout to Dallin for pointing out that we could make it a loop!

Warm up mile barefoot on the turf, then we got started with the workout. It was 3 sets of 4x400m with 2:30 rest in the first set, 2:45 in the second, and 3:00 in the third. 4 min between sets. All active, lol I got a lot of miles in that way... The first set was 1-2 seconds slower than current mile pace, second set was mile pace, and last set was faster, whatever you had left I guess. Splits were 68,68,68,67,66,65,65,65,62,61,61,62. I started out just right, then the second set was a little fast, but it felt good so I went for it. The last set I totally took a huge risk. I surged on the back stretch of the first one, and realized I was commited, so I just went for it. Same thing for the next 3. Ryan and I battled a little bit on the second to last one, but he let me go for it. It showed in the last one lol. Him and Connor passed me, and I ended up with a 62. Not what I wanted on the last lap but I'm happy with the rest of the workout.

Premeet for the mile, 65 and 67. I'm also doing the 2-mile tomorrow. My legs felt like crap again, crossing my fingers for tomorrow because I want to qualify for state in both, at least the mile. We'll see what happens.

This week I've gotten not much sleep at all because ap calc and ap chem, enough said. My first race of the day was the open 1600 with Ryan. We went out freaking slow and the first 800 was 2:18. The next couple laps I picked it up and passed pretty much everyone. The second 800 was 2:11, so that was crazy. The last lap I surged to the lead and held it until the last 50m when I was battling with another guy, and he got me by like .5 seconds. I crossed the finish line and my vision started going dark, I almost blacked out. I head was also hurting really really bad. Pretty sure I'm low on sodium, also we're going to get my heart checked because my resting heart rate has been unusually high for the past couple months. Weather wasn't ideal, and I'm running out of time to qualify for state. Just gotta do it. The 2-mile was a solid tempo I guess lol. 10:07.
