Real fun recovery run today, we had some quality renditions of "if you're happy and you know it" and teapot had quite the joyride in a shopping cart. These guys are family.

State... Wow. Kind of surreal all day. I was super calm, not really worrying about it at all. We warmed up, sat on the line, and got started. I tried to stay pretty conservative the first mile, it was 5:12. From there I just started consistently passing people who went out too fast. Second mile was 5:20. The last mile I continued to pass people and move up in place. The split wasn't quite what I wanted, 5:33, but I passed 6 more guys in the last 400m and was mostly passing people the whole time. Pretty happy with it. Obviously the time isn't where I want to be, but I'm grateful I can run and push myself. Shoutout to Guppy for getting 3rd, shoutout to the girls team for getting 4th, and shoutout to us for getting 5th, reaching our goal!

3 miles with Dallin, Guppy, Gan, and Brynlee after the ACT. I've got real high hopes for the results of this test. Good times. Solid run.
