Freaking snowy run today, but it was nice to be able to run and not have my hamstring hurt. Pretty sure I'll be up to full miles pretty soon so that's sick. Also shout out to Kobe for coming back with me and being there to drop our mile splits from 7:10 to 6:12 lol. Speed tomorrow at 800 pace so gotta get some real good sleep tonight bc that'll be hecka fast.

Speed today, I was with the mile/800 group. Warmed up 1 mile, then got started. The workout was 3 sets of 2x300m at goal 800 pace, so they were supposed to be around 45 sec each. Just in case y'all didn't do the math, that's 1800m at goal 800m pace. Aka ouch. Rest was 90 sec between each rep and 4 min between each set. My splits were 46,45,47,46,47, and 51. They were all a little slow and all was well for the first 4, but on the 4th one, fatigue hit me like a bus on the last 100m. I then proceeded to throw up some previously delicious fruit snacks and I was trying to get my act together by the time the rest was over but my body decided to hurl again and so I missed the 5th one. I was a little more coherent for the last one with the group, 47. Then I did one on my own and it was a little rough, 51. I'm glad I finished though. I will never again mock an 800 workout.

Cross training on the indoor bike so I can recover from speed yo. I'll be doing this after most speed workouts to prevent injury. Basically indoor bikes complete me. Especially when there is no music in the bike room. That part is the best. You are sitting there staring at either your sweat as it drops to the ground or the opposite wall with the HR facts I've read one too many times. So freaking entertainjng.I love the indoor bikes. Jk I'd rather be running lol but gotta stay healthy

Easy 5 miles today, my legs are still pretty tired from Tuesday, so we took it pretty easy and I rolled out afterwards. It was a good time.

Super sick speed today. Got warmed up and got going. It was 4x(200m,400m,200m) with 60 sec rest within the set and 3 min active rest between sets with 15 sec of jump lunges within that 3 minutes. The jump lunges were an interesting edition lol. Everything was at goal indoor mile pace. My splits were 32,68,32 for the first set, 32,67,32 for the second set, 32,65,32 for the third set, and 32,64,27 for the last set. Today was one of those days where I felt eh going into the workout, but throughout I stuck right with Thomas and Ryan for the first couple sets then decided to pass Thomas and it was a beautiful thing to feel so strong. I'm finally getting to where I should be. Shout out to Dallin bc when I get up to full mileage, we'll have the same mileage.
