It was the last workout of awesome week today, and indeed it was awesome. The workout was 6x1000m at 5k pace with 200m jog, then straight into a 200m sprint. After the sprint we got 3 minutes of rest. The 1000s were 3:06, 3:15, 3:11, 3:12, 3:12, and 3:16. The 200s were 28, 30, 28, 31, 29, and 26 on the last one. After the second 1000 I started to fall off the pack again but I was able to break that mental barrier and stick with them, staying on pace. It was definitely a hard workout, but a really good one, I kinda liked the format of it. After a .5 mile cool down we went to the SOLW. |
