Warmed up 2 miles, then got started with the speed workout. We did 6x(400m,200m) at goal indoor mile pace with 45 sec rest within the set and 2 min active rest between sets. My splits were 66,34,67,33,66,32,66,33,66,32,63,33. I was super happy today because once we found the pace, we were just able to tick em off one by one. It was a great workout but Jamie wouldn't let us go all out the last 200 so that was lame. Also, Ryan, Thomas, and I had a super tight pack the entire time so that was awesome. I'm finally realizing potential. I'm ready to throw down a fast mile at Simplot. Shout out to Ryan for trusting my pacing abilities for one of the 400s😂 and it was right on pace haha |
