Hey guys, I'm making a return to the blog so that's sick. I don't feel like finishing the nxr post bc it wasn't that great. Enjoy the description of my breakfast. Today we had 2 sets of 400m, 600m, 200m, all at goal indoor mile pace. My splits were 66, 1:44, 33 for the first set, and 67, 1:40, 29 for the last set. The rest was 45sec between the 409 and 600, and 1 minute between the 600 and 200. 5 min active rest between sets. I was really happy with today because I felt strong and I made the choice to push the pace when going got tough. That's a choice I need to get used to making. I was able to stick with the front of the pack the whole time and kick hard the last 200m. Freaking Ryan wouldn't let me pull away so I returned the favor lol so shout out to him. Also, don't eat chick-fil-a right before a speed workout. Haha your stomach will hate you. Trust me. I speak from experience.

Super dope recovery @7:10 ap today. I felt surprisingly good so that was fantastic. I could tell I did speed yesterday though lol. Super chill run. Then Riley thought he could bench more than me so we had a benching competition. I won, he maxed out at 115lbs and I was pumping em out so I'm the benching champion #swole. I'll have to get the Hinckleys to have a face off with me, they're getting swole. Then we did rdl's and squats, then 2 10 min hill climbs on the bike and 20 min of abs. I didn't leave the school until 5:40 haha. Shout out to all my hobbyjogger homies bc they're cool

70 min Saturday, 40 min on the ol indoor bike and 34 minutes running. We kept the intensity pretty decent on the bike and running was a struggle at first bc my quads were wrecked from the bike but it got better. Average pace was 6:44. Also my hamstring has been hurting quite a bit today and rolling out just made it feel tighter. I'll ice and say some prayers and hope for the best.
