I'm not gonna put in a race report because I stopped racing halfway through. It was the freedom 10k, and I went out with Connor, Eugene, Thom, the Riding twins, and maybe a couple others. First mile 5:30. That's when I started to realize that today was not my day. I decided to be conservative since I still had 5 miles left, and I let the pack go. I'm glad I did. Second mile, 5:39. After the second mile I gave up all hope of racing this thing because my legs were completely gone, and I ended up stopping a couple times to dry heave and I just had nothing. Splits from mile 3 on were 6:09, 6:49, 9:34, 7:59. My stomach hurt really bad that 5th mile, honestly I'm surprised I didn't just drop out, again, today was not my day. I felt much better last Saturday, maybe that 10 miler spent me lol. Kind of disappointing but I need to keep in mind what I'm capable of and that this race doesn't reflect anything about me as an athlete. Good experience. Shoutout to everyone for killing it and to Guppy for spending the day with me

P.M.- 2 easy to get to 10 for the day

7 on one of the loops in corner canyon. It was a good time, and shoutout to Ryan for coming with us because I was finally able to see him again so that was cool. Also shoutout to Guppy for taking me to lunch for my birthday (which is on Thursday but I'll be at trek)

8 miles with Dallin, he's a cool kid. We went to ice bath at the creek and the dam broke, so we were trying to fix it and one of the big rocks we were using slipped and smashed my finger, so now I get to deal with a broken finger... wahoo... lol it'll be fine, the nail is a beautiful shade of purple though.
