Temple to Temple 5k in Provo today. A bunch of people from the team were there so that was sick. Michael and I took it out in 4:49 the first mile, and I tried to hold on but fatigue hit my legs like a bus and I died hard. Very frustrating. I'm going to get my iron checked at 3:00, I'm 99.9999999% sure I'm very low in the iron department... everyone I've talked to that was low in iron has had the same symptoms, so we'll see how things go. Wish me luck.

6 easy miles. After just one dose of liquid iron last night I felt infinitely better today... I'll keep taking that at night and we'll see what the blood work shows on Thursday! I'm so glad I figured things out... Low iron sucks.

8 miles @6:47 avg pace. My legs were still pretty dead, but a little better, so I'll keep taking the iron and we'll see what the results say tomorrow.

8 600's at skyridge today. We went up on the grass around the track, then finished with 200m on the track. Splits were 1:58,1:57,1:55,1:55,1:55,1:50,1:52,1:50. I finally felt strong today for the first time in like 3 weeks. Shoutout to iron. I was really happy with having them all be under 2, but I wish we would've had more of a pack at the front. Anyway, it was a good workout!

Recovery run, Michael, Parker, and I split off from the group because we wanted to go slower. It was a good run, and we made a loop out of it!

10 pretty eventful miles today! Michael, Thom, Parker, and I started at the park and went up to the MCT, and got off the MCT in highland and came back by way of the spinny park. While running, a biker lady got pretty mad at us because apparently we were on the wrong side of the trail, so here's the exchange that happened;

Biker Lady: You know there's a pedestrian side of the trail right? *Very snarky might I add*

Thom: Good thing we aren't pedestrians

Michael: And good thing we can run as fast as you are on your bike!

She sped off after Michael started getting mad.

Haha it was a good time. Back at the park, while we were doing abs, a lady came up to us and said, "hey do you guys want to try a meditation?" What the heck? So we said sure and she led us over to the bridge that goes over the creek, and she told us to sit down with our legs over the side of the bridge, water flowing away from us. She said "I'm going to be quiet for a minute, and I want you guys to look at the water flowing away from you and imagine all your hardships and all the things that are holding you back from reaching your potential flowing away with this water." So then she was quiet and we did as we were told, then she had us come to the other side of the bridge, so the water was flowing towards us. She said "I'm going to be quiet again, but this time I want you to imagine all the good things you want in life and in running flowing into you, with this water." After she sat there for a little bit, she said "alright I'm going to go now but you guys can stay as long as you want."

What on earth?! Lol it was quite the day. Then we ice bathed and went home.
