We got back from lake Powell today and while I was there I found a sick river bed to run in during the week. Shout out to the coyotes for not eating me, you guys are the real mvp's. Also I'm now a freaking pro when it comes to wakeboarding, so feel free to take me boating. I also need to give a well deserved shout out to my aunt and uncle (plus they're kids for being freaking awesome cousins) for making this trip possible by providing all watercraft involved, and for feeding us awesome food. Another shout out to Strrt because he went to the MTC this week and he was an amazing person to have known, I'll miss him but he's going to convert his entire area, so it's kind of almost ok. Anyway, today after we got back I went to airport hill to do the workout, 3 sets of 3x90 sec pickups up the hill. I got to the top of the hill every time, but my paces were super slow, like around 6:30-7:00, so idk what's up with that. It was just an off day. After I got the rest of my miles in I went to the SOLW, and just for future reference, 12 minutes in that thing go by waaaayyyy slower without your buds to talk to. Shout out to Papa Heaps and Sami because I saw both of them during my run today! |
