A sad attempt at a run. 9min pace felt difficult. I'm gonna get liquid iron today because I don't think the pill is working

SO. MUCH. BETTER. The workout was 3x10min, 5:45, 5:30, 5:15. Just a progression so no rest. I totalled 5.29 miles, so 5:40 average. I'm definitely not feeling 100%, if I had to put a number on it, I was feeling 60-70% today. Still a big improvement. Splits were 5:52, 5:41, 5:27, 5:36, 5:42, and 6:02 pace for the last .29. I fell off a bit but I'm happy with the improvement today especially since we lifted yesterday.

Felt pretty tired today from yesterday, but still had a good run. 6:34 average. We were hitting 6:10-6:30 until mile 8, where my legs stopped working lol those last couple were 6:50.

6 miles total at 6 freaking am. We did 8x400m @70-75 to get our legs moving for Saturday. Splits were 72, 71, 71, 71, 70, 69, 69, 71. 90sec rest. Not a very difficult workout, but legs are tired as heck. Haha we did weights on Monday, speed Tuesday, weights Wednesday, speed today, and a race on Saturday. I'm toast.

Course preview, mileage and 3 strides in spikes to finish it off. To be honest my legs do not feel good. Probably from the tough week. I'm really hoping for a good day tomorrow. Regardless of how I feel, I'm gonna fight.

Wow. First college race. It basically hurt really bad, the course is super hilly so that kinda sucked. There's about 50 feet less elevation gain than footlocker, just to put it in perspective. I fought really hard, and I felt good about it mentally. I didn't give up. Just didn't come together today.
